I'm so glad you found me. Whether you’ve read some of my books and wanted to know more or just stumbled onto my site, I hope you’ll have a look around now that you're here. There's a bit about me and what inspires the settings and characters that you'll meet between the covers of my books.

My first book Maelstrom, is set in the wonderful Whitsunday Islands beside the Great Barrier Reef. Different This Time is set way over on the opposite side of the continent in the rugged Kimberley region of Western Australia. I loved the setting and characters so much, this novel became the first book of the Molly Downs Outback Romance Series which follows the five Armstrong siblings on their sometimes rocky road to love. One Time Thing is the second book in the series, followed by Breaking Free and Eight Seconds to Forever. And right now, I'm busy writing the next installment.

Whilst romance is my specialty, I also write women’s contemporary fiction. My first novel in this genre is A Thousand Rivers, published under the pen name Melissa Kuipers. It’s set in Borneo, a fascinating place I was lucky enough to visit a few years back, and tells the story of a young woman who comes to an unexpected crossroad in her life.
